A quick update on my homemade marshmallow fluff. It has started doing something a little odd…… it’s separating. Apparently it just can’t hold all that golden syrup and it’s collecting in the bottom of the jar. It still tastes good, but I don’t think it’s supposed to be doing this. Perhaps I didn’t beat it for long enough, or golden syrup is just a bit too heavy-duty for the feathery lightness of fluff, who knows? But I think I’ll take my sister’s advice next time, and buy it from Ocado.
